THE FINAL touches are being made to a charity jewellery valuation in Knowle tomorrow (Friday).
The Marie Curie charity shop on High Street is hosting an All that Glitters evening from 5pm to 8pm.
Partnering with the nearby Goldsmith jewellery store, the evening will allow supporters to bring in a small amount of jewellery and receive a rough estimate of its value, and advice on hallmarks for precious metals.
Visitors will also have an opportunity to buy some jewellery on the evening, alongside drinks and nibbles.
The Marie Curie shop raises funds for the UK’s leading end of life charity and is well known for its creative window displays and in store events.
Marie Curie care for people with terminal illness and their loved ones through hospice and end of life care in people’s homes and over the phone.
Rowan Saunders, Manager of the Marie Curie shop in Knowle said: “All that Glitters marks the second event in our series of ticketed events this year.
“Shoppers can expect a brilliant evening with the team of experts from Goldsmiths, and an extensive range of jewellery for sale for all tastes and ages.
“It could be a perfect opportunity to buy some early Christmas presents.”
