A CHRISTMAS Day skating session at Planet Ice Solihull raised £775 for the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society.

Planet Ice Solihull opened its doors on December 25 from 10am – 12pm for local families with all the proceeds and a bucket collection going towards the national charity’s investment into research.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a condition that affects your brain and spinal cord and can make it harder to do everyday things.

More than 100,000 people in the UK alone have been diagnosed with MS.

The MS Society’s aim is to raise enough money to fund for the research of MS so they can eventually find a cure.

It also provides help and support to those living with MS, as well as their families.
