Gardeners give Solihull mental health units makeover

GREEN-FINGERED folk in Solihull have given gardens at mental health units in Solihull a makeover.

Charity Caring Minds and staff at Lloyds Banking Group helped refurbish gardens at David Bromley House and Hertford House, including renovating a summer house, constructing a shed, and creating flowers baskets.

The Birmingham charity provided materials along with Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, while volunteers from Lloyds Banking Group provided the hands on support.

David Bromley House ward manager Neil Edwards said: “Thanks to Caring Minds and Lloyds Banking Group, the summer house will be a peaceful place for patients to sit, reflect, pray, meditate or just find solace.”
