A TRIO of students from Solihull School achieved the highest possible grade across their four A Level subjects.

Emily Dekker, Emma Priestley, and Maxine Perroni-Scharf are all set to study STEM – science, technology, engineering, and mathematics – subjects at university after collecting incredible results of four A* grades.

The independent school this year saw 135 students receive their A Level results this morning.

An impressive 80 per cent of all grades achieved were at A* to B.

More than 50 per cent of all grades were A*/A as 34 students celebrated three or more A*/A grades.

Emily is hoping to study physics, Emma plans to study mechanical engineering, while Maxine wishes to study maths.

David EJJ Lloyd, headmaster at Solihull School, was delighted with the students’ success.

He said: “I’m incredibly proud of all the students – the hard work and determination they have shown throughout the last two years has resulted in a fantastic set of grades.”

Students were able to relieve some of the results day tension by snapping their success in a specially-created photo booth which was put in place at the school.

The celebrating students were able to take polaroid photos which they took away as a keepsake to remember their special day.
