FESTIVE fundraisers are being urged to get into the Christmas spirit and raise funds for Marie Curie.
Meriden Rotary is hosting a 5km Santa Fun Run around Packington Hall on December 10.
Hundreds, dressed in their finest Father Christmas outfits, will run, dance and jingle their way through the countryside.
Organiser Tony Hill said: “We are delighted to be able to return to Packington Hall again this year which is a beautiful setting for the event, only made possible by the enthusiastic support of Lady Georgie Guernsey.
“It is a wonderful location with lovely views across the snow-sprinkled park which we shared with the deer.
“It is our 12th year and we hope that the event will be well supported by our regular runners and newcomers.
“We will use the proceeds to support Marie Curie and other charities who need our help more than ever this year.”
Registration is open for both adults and children.
Entrants will be provided with a Father Christmas suit and a water bottle and all will receive a medal when they complete the course.
