ORGANISERS of the Knowle Fun Run have revealed that BBC weather presenter Rebecca Wood is to be the VIP for this year’s event.
The keen runner and lover of the outdoors will be there to fire the starting pistol, handle prize-giving and choose the winners of the fancy dress competition at the May 17 event.
“It’s an honour to be asked to be a part of the Knowle Fun Run which is a fantastic event and raises money for so many great causes,” said Rebecca.
“As a weather presenter I’m hoping I can provide the perfect weather for the event.”
