DOG lovers, go-karting competitors and thrill-seekers turned up in their droves to attend this year’s Solilhull Carnival on Saturday (June 9).
The annual calendar highlight at Tudor Grange Park, organised by Solihull Lions, attracted people from all across the borough to join in on the endless amount of fun – including face painting, fun fair rides and ‘hook-a-duck’ games.
Mayor of Solihull Flo Nash also stepped in to give a helping hand and opened the fun-filled event.
Carnival-goers had the opportunity to try their luck at the tombolas.
The large selection of food stalls – including a pig roast and curry stands just to name a few – were also a real hit with the crowds and kept spirits high throughout the day.
Observer photographer Jon Mullis was on hand to capture a slice of the action.
