Free concert salutes Armed Forces Day this weekend

A SOLIHULL vocal harmony trio are warming up their vocal cords ahead of a free Armed Forces Day concert this weekend.

The Boogaloo Babes will be taking to the stage at Hillfield Park from 2pm in celebration of veterans and serving personnel.

The concert will take place near the Armed Forces Community Garden and will feature songs from Dame Vera Lynn, Glenn Miller, The Andrews Sisters and more.

Sunday‚Äôs performance by the Boogaloo Babes kicks off Solihull Culture’s newly launched Fresh Air Theatre festival, which brings more than 40 free events from a wide array of musicians, dancers and performers to Solihull parks this summer.
