CHILDREN can attend free craft events running in Solihull running from next Monday to the following Sunday, August 15 to 21, writes William Rogers.

The sessions, organised by the Solihull Metro Bank, will provide parents and guardians with a great chance for parents and guardians to relax whilst the youngsters have the opportunity to immerse themselves in colouring and fun educational activities.

Children are welcome to drop into the branch, 119 High Street, Solihull, between 8.30pm and 6pm Monday to Saturday and from 11am to 5pm on Sunday.

They can pick up a take away craft bag whilst Metro Man, the bank’s mascot, will be around for pictures.

Metro Bank is known for championing family-friendliness and supporting local communities, with this activity being one of many the bank has held, influencing around 250,000 children.

Solihull Metro Bank manager Kulvinder Dhanda said: “We’re always looking for ways to support our local community.

“We know how long the summer holidays are and we are glad to be able to offer this free event for kids.

“You don’t have to be a customer to come in and enjoy the event – everyone is welcome.”
