Footballers coming together to help young people affected by knife crime

FOOTBALLERS are limbering up ahead of a charity day on Sunday (May 18).

Players will be going head to head to in aid of ALIVE Wellness Centre CIC which supports young people affected by knife crime, youth violence, and trauma.

From 11am to 4pm there will be family activities, music, food, and community stalls Silhill Football Club on Sharmans Cross Road.

ALIVE Wellness Centre CIC works with West Midlands Police, the Violence Reduction Partnership, and Birmingham Children’s Trust and offers therapeutic support, mentoring, early intervention workshops, and positive activities to help victims recover and prevent them from becoming future offenders.
