A TEENAGER from Tidbury Green successfully flew his ‘First Solo’ flight on his 16th birthday – making him one of the youngest pilots to do so.
Tyler Bulger, a pupil at Woodrush High School in Bromsgrove, had a day off school, to coincide with his birthday and which allowed to carry out this flight.
He has been training to become a pilot at South Warwickshire Flying School at Wellesbourne Airfield and is on target to obtain his Private Pilot’s Licence on his 17th birthday next year.
Tyler has been keen on becoming a pilot since the age of 10 and has been practicing on his home flight simulator ever since then.
His goal is to finish his education and to pursue a career in civil air transportation.
