SOLIHULL shopping centre, Mell Square, is set to be a hive of activity during the upcoming October half-term break.
The centre boasts an exciting mix of retailers ideal for families looking for a fun day out.
To help you plan your next visit to Mell Square, the centre’s team has handpicked five activities to keep you and your little ones entertained during the school holidays.
Kick off the spooky season on Saturday October 28 with Solihull BID’s Solihull Spooktacular 2023.
Crowds will gather in Mell Square, between 12 and 6pm, for a whole host of free activities, including face painting, a Halloween disco, zombie dancers, a kid’s Halloween workshop, and a children’s fancy-dress parade.
For children who love to use their imagination, a visit to Bakes Makes Creates on Drury Lane is a must.
The team is launching a week of Halloween sessions from Monday October 30 to Friday November 30, including pumpkin carving, spooky cupcake and bat biscuit baking, and pumpkin pizza creation.
All sessions are designed with children in mind, lasting 90 minutes, with supervision required for children under four.
For more early-years fun, venture next door to Play Lane on October 30 for its Mini Halloween Disco.
Sessions are available between 9.30am and 3.30pm, priced at £1.
Mell Square is a hot spot when it comes to eating out. This half-term, visit Carluccio’s, where you can find 50% off all mains throughout October.
Or for the colder days ahead, explore winter warmers at Tap & Tandoor and take advantage of great deals including a three-course kids’ meal for £6.95.
If you’re looking to treat yourself this season, get ready to be transported on a journey of self-discovery with Solihull’s first permanent holistic wellness store, Astraea Designs.
Bookings are now open for its popular Amethyst Meditation sound bath on October 28, as well as its unforgettable Halloween Psychic Night on October 27.
