SOLIHULL police have arrested and charged five people over 15 alleged vehicle crimes in the borough.
In the week up to September 22 West Midlands Police said the charges were over vehicle crimes, including cases where vehicles were stolen, or broken into and items taken from inside.
The force added: “In Solihull, our vehicle crime task force, led by Sgt Dan Wilson, has had some fantastic results lately.
“We will continue to work hard to bring offenders to justice and reduce crime, and offer help and advice to people to keep their vehicles safe.”
As part of the taskforce the police are holding a crime prevention event at Motorserv in Shirley on October 7, where residents can speak to officers and get the latest crime prevention advice.
