FIRE CREWS in Solihull rescued a 100-year-old woman following a small fire in a kitchen.
Solihull Fire Station praised the working smoke alarms on Twiiter saying they were “vital in preventing the escalation of the incident.
“Fire Service were in attendance within three minutes.”
