BUDDING media, tv and performing artists can find out about life in the creative industry.
Solihull Cultural Education Partnership (CEP) is hosting a free career event at The Core for those in year 10 to early career artists to find out about more about their dream job.
On April 30 visitors can find out about the range of roles and career pathways, how to get into the creative and cultural industries, and where to go for further information and opportunities to begin their journey.
There will also be a panel of industry professionals from across Media, Film and TV, Performing Arts and Visual Arts, who will share their own advice and individual journeys to success including Lewis Clements – the promo director for Channel 4, Sabra Khan – executive director of SAMPAD and Noel Dunne – the chief executive at Creative Alliance, an organisation which supports emerging talent overcome the many barriers to creative success, through professional work-based training.
