Final touches added to today's Temple Balsall flower festival

Solihull Editorial 26th Jun, 2016 Updated: 21st Oct, 2016   0

THE FINAL touches are being put into place ready for a flower festival in Temple Balsall this weekend.

St Mary’s Church will be smelling of roses to celebrate the recent opening of the South door, which has not been opened in living memory, from tomorrow (Friday) until Monday.

All of the four external church doors have been restored and all aspects of the community will be represented by floral displays.

There will also be a Songs of Praise service on Sunday (June 26) at 3pm.

Refreshments are available in the old hall between 2.30pm and 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.
