THE FINAL call for cyclists to take part in this year’s Heart of England Bike Ride is underway.
With hundreds of fundraisers already entered the Knowle and Dorridge Lions hope many more will turn up to raise funds for Solihull Life Opportunities (SoLO) and Sepsis Trust UK.
The event – now in its 14th year – takes place on Sunday, July 14, starting as usual from Packwood House National Trust property.
There will be a choice of 20km, 30km or 100km circular routes to take on.
Paul Wheatley, organiser, said: “It’s not too late to enter and take advantage of the discounted online entry fees.
“Alternatively, we have ordered extra numbers so a limited number of entries can be taken on the day.
“Either way we would really appreciate cyclists who make their way to the start without having to leave their car at the National Trust car park.”
The 100km route starts between 8am and 8.45am and those taking part in the 20km and 30km should be at the start-line between 9am and 11.30am.
Online entries close on Sunday, July 7.
