RAIL services in and out of Birmingham on the Solihull line are currently shut down following a suspected suicide at Olton station.
British Transport Police were called to the scene at around 3.20pm following a report a person had been struck by a train.
Officers from BTP are currently at the station alongside local ambulance and the person has been pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and officers are working to establish the person’s identity and inform their family.
