POLICE are appealing for information following a fatal crash in Solihull.
The incident between a cyclist and a car happened just before 7am on December 17 at the junction of Wagon Lane and Amberley Road.
A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries.
His family has been informed and are being supported by officers.
The driver of the car involved remained at the scene and is helped police with enquiries.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Critical Care Car attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Upon arrival crews found a man who was the cyclist in a critical condition being cared for by an off-duty nurse.
“Ambulance staff administered advanced life support to him at the scene but unfortunately, despite their best efforts it became clear that nothing more could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.
“The driver of the car did not require treatment.”
