THE BLISTERS may only just have healed from this year’s Knowle Fun Run – but the fundraising efforts of last year’s event are clear to see.
The Fun Run raises thousands of pounds for local causes every year.
One fantastic cause to benefit from 2016’s coffers is Solihull’s dedicated Community First Responders – FastAid – which has just been handed 23 new reflective all-weather jackets to help the volunteers carry out their lifesaving work as safely and visibly as possible.
The jackets were provided thanks to a link-up between the Lions of Knowle and Dorridge and Solihull.
FastAid volunteers were in attendance at last weekend’s Knowle Fun Run – a team of six providing cover around the course and manning the First Aid tent, with a further two on-call with the emergency ambulance.
