FANS OF boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr have been left frustrated after his visit to Solihull has been controversially cancelled due to a lack of ticket sales.
The five-division world champion was due to appear at the Vox Conference Centre on Friday (February 12).
He was set to discuss his fighting career, take part in a Q&A session and pose for photos with adoring fans – charging an extra £300 for those who wanted a picture.
His Solihull appearance isn’t the only venue to be let down by the 38-year-old though after evening’s with the champ in Cardiff and Bristol were also cancelled.
Mayweather has been ranked as one of the greatest pound-for-pound fighters in the sport’s history – winning all 49 of his career fights.
Fans that purchased tickets for the event and would like a refund can do so by contacting The Ticket Factory.
