Exploring inside a whale to discover more about sustainability

Solihull Editorial 11th Aug, 2023   0

RAIN failed to dampen spirits as families flocked to Solihull to discover more about sustainability inside a whale.

A Whale’s Tale saw almost 500 children and their parents take part in an immersive theatre show inside Moby, the 18-metre-long whale, that called Mell Square its temporary home.

And thousands more took part in the other free activities available, including free face painting, sticker trail, story time sessions, bubbleologist and meeting mermaids in the town centre.

Steven Coney, PR manager at Solihull BID, said: “We had incredible demand for the immersive theatre show inside Moby and we’re glad so many children got to experience it.

“Solihull town centre was a hive of activity all weekend and the weather didn’t dampen anybody’s spirit.”
