SOLIHULL-based Envolve Wellness has re-launched its autism-friendly group Boxercise sessions, running pop up in-person outdoor classes in Solihull/Birmingham.
Envolve Wellness has been delivering autism friendly Boxercise for five years and since March 2020 has been successfully pivoted online, reaching all over UK.
“Many people have embraced online fitness during Covid,” said spokeswoman Nora Ma.
“However we can’t ignore the fact there are still many families who continue to struggle to engage with online activities due to their children’s additional needs.
“These families’ needs have not been met for over a year, and mental health has been hugely impacted, so an in-person session is the only hope to encourage their physical activities, reverse the damage and improve their wellbeing.”
Envolve wellness provides specialised exercise sessions for vulnerable people, helping them move more, move better and build confidence.
Apart from autism friendly Boxercise, they also deliver specialised sessions for people with Parkinson’s as well as wellbeing programmes for carers.
The outdoor classes are now being held at Solihull 1st Scouts Hut on Wednesdays at 11am, with more dates to come.
People will need to book in advance – for more details contact Nora on [email protected]
