EMPLOYERS from across the West Midlands are preparing to attend Meriden’s Career’s Fair.
Meriden MP, Saqib Bhatti has organised the event at Sollihull College and University Centre’s Woodland Campus in Smith’s Wood for young people and job seekers on January 13.
Attendees include Crimson, Openreach, WMCA, The Manufacturing Technology Centre, Department for Work and Pensions and Barclays.
From 3pm until 7pm Google Digital Garage, and Degree Apprenticeship Programmes by Aston University will be hosting career advice seminars.
Mr Bhatti said: “This will be a brilliant opportunity to explore the next steps in your career journey with access to some of the best employers and educational establishments in the country.
“Wherever I am in my constituency, I see talented people everywhere and I am committed to making sure they have access to the best opportunities on their doorstep.”
Lindsey Stewart, acting principal of Solihull College and University Centre said: “The College is delighted to be working with Saqib Bhatti MP to host this careers fair.
“It is vital young people are made aware of the career opportunities available to them and helping to provide this is central to the college’s ethos.”
