THE STARK reality of knife crime has hit Solihull this week, and families and households are being asked to take a stand.
Solihull added another life to the ever-growing list of victims when Leneto Kellengbeck was stabbed to death on Friday.
Two days before, police recovered three knives, two of them kitchen knives, in Shirley Park, following an alleged robbery.
Alongside school visits, police officers called on families to make sure all knives at home are accounted for.
The problem cannot be eradicated by the police alone.
