HELPING those with loved ones who are terminally ill is vitally important. Giving people a chance to talk to those in a similar situation could be life-line for some. Groups like the Men’s Shed at the Marie Curie hospice help provide that space and time for family and friends to get together and support each other. This project is soon to get a lot bigger thanks to caring and generous donations from the borough’s Lions group who have provided half of the funds needed to move the project on. Once again Solihull’s community spirit has shone through and residents are helping those when they need it most – long may this continue.
