A fine example has been set by two schools whose students came together to promote understanding between faiths and cultures.
The initiative was between an all-girls Muslim faith school in Birmingham, Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra, and Grace Academy Solihull in Chelmsley Wood.
The students were in some cases from vastly different geographical backgrounds too.
The project was part of The Faith and Belief Forum national linking programme that brings students together for three link days each academic year.
There is huge disparity too between some inner city communities and many in Solihull borough.
Breaking down barriers and misunderstandings at a young age is surely the way forward amid global conflicts.
