The inspectors’ ‘Inadequate’ rating highlights just how badly let down elderly people with dementia and loved ones have been after placing their trust in the glitzy modern home, which opened in November.
Runwood Homes insists it’s made the management changes necessary, alongside ongoing action plans to improve matters.
Yet ex-staff and relatives have told us of their concerns about future care there, after highly vulnerable patients were placed in danger of poor staffing ratios, missing their medicine, and even not eating and drinking adequately.
