They are contrasting in age and even name – be Arayaa and Irene are inspirational. Both are thriving against the odds.
One is starting year one at Berkswell school. The other, Irene Grice, is still working in TWO jobs aged 89, having just overcome skin cancer and a hip operation, while fundraising for Marie Curie.
