Easter holiday activities for all to enjoy across Solihull

THERE are plenty of events taking place in the parks during the school holidays to give children an egg-cellent Easter.

On Good Friday (April 14) there will be an Easter Egg Hunt taking place in Elmdon Park between 11am and 3pm.

Children can meet the Easter bunny and find the clues along the treasure trail for a chance to win a chocolate egg.

There will also be Punch and Judy shows, face painting and craft activities will also be on offer.

Entry to the Easter Egg Hunt is £2.00 per child plus a small charge for some of the other attractions.

The meeting point for this event is at the Tanhouse Farm Road entrance to the park.

The popular Scarecrow Making Day is set to return to Knowle Park on April 20.

Families can have a go at making their own scarecrow and dressing them up.

Hay is provided and prizes will be awarded to the best three scarecrows.

This event is free, but places are limited so contact 0121 704 8000 to reserve a place and receive an equipment list.

The meeting place for this event is by the car park off Longdon Road.
