FAMILIES in Dickens Heath were joined by MP Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst for a morning of Easter fun on Sunday, as the village played host to a popular Easter Egg Hunt.
The event, organised by Dickens Heath Parish Council, saw children follow a trail of clues left by the Easter Bunny, all set against the backdrop of glorious spring sunshine.
Dr Shastri-Hurst MP said: “It was a real pleasure to spend Easter Sunday with families in Dickens Heath.
“The Easter Egg Hunt was a fantastic example of community spirit in action, and I commend the Parish Council for their hard work in bringing it all together.
“Events like this are vital for strengthening local ties and creating lasting memories for children and parents alike.”
The Easter Egg Hunt is one of several seasonal events organised throughout the year by Dickens Heath Parish Council, aimed at bringing residents together and fostering a strong sense of community.
