RAIN failed to dampen spirits as the annual Dorridge Day got under way.
Crowds flocked to Dorridge Park for a day of medieval merriment on Sunday (September 14) thanks to organisers, Knowle and Dorridge Round Table.
Gallant knights re-enacted their thrilling stories with displays of heroism on the battlefield to audiences while others showcased their skills on a smaller scale.
There was also food stands, inflatables and market stalls for visitors to peruse.
Organsiers said all proceeds from the day will be donated to support local good causes.
