Donations handed to Solihull foodbank to provide meals for families in need

A ROTARY club has donated hundreds of food items to help a Solihull foodbank provide meals for families in need.

Knowle and Dorridge Rotary Club handed more than 900 food items to the Helping Hands food bank on Lode Lane in Solihull.

The Rotary Club raised £1,100 before they went on a big food shop to Costco.

Club president Colin Winstone along with club treasurer James Murray, presented the food products to Naomi Ridgeon, Helping Hands Community project lead.
