Officers in Solihull are trying to track down three men in their early 20s believed to be stealing tools from vans.
The car in connection with the burglaries is pictured – and has been spotted at four locations in the borough.
UPDATE: The black Vauxhall Vectra now has a different number plate (AM58 HTT).
Police are urging people to call 101 if they have any information.
