COLOURFUL activities and displays are set to light up Solihull as Diwali celebrations get underway.
There will be workshops in rangoli pattern-making, candle decorating, shadow pattern making, dance and performance, to celebrate the festival of light on Friday (October 28) and Saturday (October 29).
The events are being held at The Core Theatre.
On Saturday there will be _Light Shadows and Neon too, for families to get involved in activities and find out a little more about the Hindu and Sikh festival.
On Friday comedy show The Indians are Coming! Diwali Dhamaka, which features Sukh Ojla, Anuvab Pal, Kai Samra, and Raj Poojara will be on stage.
This is for those aged 16 year plus.
