Solihull Editorial 9th Oct, 2016 Updated: 21st Oct, 2016   0

DISRUPTIONS are expected as resurfacing works on Whitlocks End station car park are set to start on October 10.

There will be reduced parking at the station while the works take place with a complete closure on October 15 and 16.

Motorists are being reminded not to leave their vehicles parked overnight while the work is taking place.

There will be access for pedestrians to use the station at all times and cycle-hoop facilities for cyclists will remain available.

Director of transport services for TfWM, Pete Bond said: “We apologise in advance for any inconvenience these works may cause but they need to be done and once complete will enhance the station environment.

“Motorists can also play their part by arriving in good time to get a free parking space or by considering using public transport to get to the station.”

Alternative Park and Ride facilities are available at Shirley station.
