DONATIONS of old and unwanted football boots are being called for.
Boxy, a Social Enterprise Business will be on hand at Solihull Moors Football Club game against Yeovil Town, on March 22, to collect boots at the club entrance as part of its Football Boot Donation Programme.
The programme aims to provide children in need with access to upcycled boots, ensuring they can participate in football regardless of financial constraints.
Boxy has been set up by 12 Sixth Form Students at Kings Norton Sixth Form as part of the Young Enterprise Company Programme and as a social enterprise they trade for social and environmental purposes, with a dedication to reducing waste whilst promoting youth sports participation.
As well as collecting boots the group will also be collecting financial donations to help youngsters into sport.
