Dickens Heath voters head to the poll

DICKENS HEATH voters will head to the polls for a Parish Council by-election next month.

Votes will be asked to elect either Mark Connolly-Dawson or Jayne Partridge of the Independent Dickens Heath Residents Association to take their seat on the council.

Voting will take place in Dickens Heath Village Hall between 7am and 10pm.

Only registered electors in Dickens Heath Parish are eligible to vote.




Those residents who wish to vote and aren’t already registered to do so must register by midnight on March 22.

The deadline to apply for a postal vote is 5pm on March 23 and to apply to vote by proxy the deadline is 5pm on March 30.


Voters are encouraged to wear a mask when inside the polling station and bring their own pen or pencil. Masks and sanitiser will be available at the village hall.

Those self-isolating due to Covid-19 and who miss the deadline to vote by proxy, can apply for an emergency proxy up until 5pm on polling day.
