PREPARATIONS are under way for West Midlands Police’s first Dementia Awareness event.
The force is set to raise awareness of services that are available across the West Midlands for people living with Dementia and their loved ones at Tally Ho.
On September 7 there will be stalls, talks, and discussions, plus a raffle with all proceeds going to the Dementia Choir.
Inspector Connor-Iommi said: “Our first dementia event will be a chance to bring everybody together and give the community an insight and awareness of services that are available across the West Midlands for people living with dementia in any capacity.
“We invite anyone who is interested to sign up and be a part of this valuable day of discussion and support.
“We look forward to having you join us as we work together to create a more dementia-aware community and share strategies that enhance the lives of those affected.”
