Countdown on to opening of new Birmingham Dogs Home

Solihull Editorial 2nd Jun, 2015 Updated: 21st Oct, 2016   0

THERE are just a matter of weeks to go until the brand new Birmingham Dogs Home opens its doors in Catherine de Barnes.

The state-of-the-art rehoming centre will feature purpose-built 120 glass-fronted kennels with underfloor heating to ensure every dog has the very best care.

It also features secure outdoor play areas, indoor areas for prospective owners to meet the dogs, a community education centre, purpose-built staff accommodation and much, much more.

The Observer will be teaming up with the centre to help raise vital funds and secure homes for the most needy rescue dogs.

We will also bring you full ocverage of the grand opening in the next couple of months.

In the meantime, anyone who wants to help raise funds to cover the costs of this fabulous new rehoming centre is asked to dig deep and donate in a variety of ways.

One-off or regular donations are a great way to help the cause, as is leaving money in your will.

But in the run-up to the grand opening the centre is also urging people to buy a brick and forever  be a part of the centre.

The bricks cost either £50 or £100 and will feature a message of your choice, for example the name and a message to a loved one or a late family pet.
