This event is the main fundraising event of Knowle and Dorridge Lions each year.
Over the years that the Lions have organised the Fun Run and it is estimated that over £1million has been raised from this event and others and distributed to charities.
Mark Sutton, from Knowle and Dorridge Lions, said: “An event like this doesn’t just happen, Lions start work many months before the big day.
“A big thanks to our local community who support us every year.
“Also, thanks to our new main sponsor “DM&Co “who has taken over from Hunters plus Arden Academy, the businesses that assist us with donations for trophies and T-shirts and all the many businesses who advertised in this year’s programme.”
Mark said they are still on the look out for any volunteers, anyone interested should contact 0345 833 894.
