THE COUNTDOWN is on for this year’s Balsall Common Fun Run.
Fitness fanatics are being asked to join in the eighth annual run and help raise funds for the Lily Mae Foundation on Sunday, September 18.
The foundation was set up by Balsall Common couple Ryan and Amy Jackson following the death of their daughter Lily Mae who was stillborn.
It supports parents and families who have tragically and traumatically lost a baby to stillbirth, neonatal death, miscarriage or medical termination.
Runners can choose from a 5km or 10km route which will start and finish at The Heart of England School in Balsall Common.
There will also be a mini-run for children who are primary school age and a junior 5km for children to take part in.
The charity is also calling on non-runners to join them as volunteer marshalls from 10am until 2pm on the day.
Training will be given before hand.
