LIBRARIES across Solihull have free Coronation commemorative bookmarks up for grabs.
There are four designs to choose from, each designed by one of Solihull’s young artists during a competition held earlier this year.
The bookmarks show different aspects of The Coronation and how Solihull celebrated it – with King Charles, crowns, corgis, cakes and crisps.
The winner of the under fives category was Malachi, aged four-and-a-half, the five to eight years category was won by Eloise, aged seven, the nine to 11 years category was won by Chloe, aged 11, and the 12 – 16 years category was won by Simran, aged 16.
The young winners and their families were invited to afternoon tea with the Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Diana Holl-Allen, and given gift vouchers and certificates.
The Mayor said: “We had some fantastic entries from children across the borough and judging was extremely difficult.
“Not only do these designs show how creative our young people are, but they are also a lovely way to document how we celebrated the Coronation of King Charles.”

A display of the winning designs and semi-finalists is on display in The Core Library.
