THE SOLIHULL OBSERVER has teamed up with Birmingham City Ladies FC sponsors Eze Group to offer one lucky fan the chance to be mascot for their upcoming home game against Arsenal.

Taking place on Wednesday (June 29) at 7.45pm, the Blues will be looking to defeat one of the most successful women’s teams in the past decade at Solihull Moors FC.

Birmingham City Ladies currently play in the highest division of women’s football in the UK and boast star players including Melissa Lawley and German striker Isabelle Linden.

The club has gone from strength to strength since becoming founder member of the FA Women’s Super League – now a thriving national league containing some of the world’s best female players.

Birmingham won their first FA Women’s Cup when defeating Chelsea in 2012 and have since changed stadiums and now base themselves at Solihull Moors.

The lucky winner will receive the full mascot package which includes the opportunity to meet and greet players, walk them out on the pitch and enjoy the game with three complimentary match day tickets for friends and family.

Shirt sponsors Eze Group are also using their link with the club to encourage more young girls aged between seven and 13 to take part in active sport.

The club will also arrange a Blues shirt for the winner.

To be in with a chance of winning this fantastic prize, email [email protected] with your name, contact details and age of the potential mascot.

Emails should be titled ‘BCLFC Competition’ and competition entries close at 7pm on Saturday (June 25).
