RESIDENTS, family, staff and the community came together to mark a Shirley care home’s 70th anniversary.
There was plenty on offer at Elizabeth House as the diamond anniversary celebrations got under way with a visit from Solihull Mayor, Councillor Shahin Ashraf.
There was live music, a bbq, tombola and a raffle to raise funds for the not for profit care home.
The money raised from the event will go towards the residents trips and entertainment and also daily activities at the Elizabeth Grove home.
