THOSE killed or injured while doing their job were honoured in Solihull.
To mark International Workers’ Memorial Day on Monday (April 28) representatives from JLR, Solihull Council and Unite trade union came together at the memorial stone in Brueton Gardens.
The commemorative stone was funded by JLR workers in 2002.
International Workers’ Memorial Day is an annual event and is a day commemorated throughout the world by trade unionists.
It is designed to draw attention to and remember workers who have lost their lives due to work-related incidents, and to renew the commitment to make work safer for everyone.
