FINES and warnings have been given out to street racers taking advantage of Solihull’s empty roads during the Coronavirus lockdown.
Officers from the Knowle, Dorridge and Balsall Common rurals team targeted vehicles overnight between Sunday and Monday.
A large number of vehicles were stopped and the fines and warnings were issued for various offences.
Officers from the team said anti-social behaviour in the area would not be tolerated and warned further enforcement activity to clampdown on the antics would continue.
