THE CHRISTMAS spirit was in the air at Burman Infant School Christmas fete.

Olaf was on hand alongside a group of makeup students from Solihull college, who ran a face painting stall, to get pupils into the festive mood.

This year the PTA raised funds for a gardening project where the children can grow their own fruit and vegetables.

The money also raised will help fund new playground equipment.

There was plenty on offer including snowman skittles, nail painting, a cake stall, a selfie booth and a raffle.

Claire Stevenson, from the PTA said: “We would like to thank everyone involved for their support.

“We are a new PTA team this year and have worked really hard to make the fair really magical for the school children.

“The parents, grandparents, teachers and members of the local community will be volunteering their time to run stalls.”
