A CHELMSLEY Wood man as been jailed after he attacked a woman in his home.
Carl Tymon verbally abused, punched, choked, bit, kicked and stamped on a 40-year-old woman who has not been named by police.
Household items including a metal vacuum pole and TV were used as weapons.
The woman’s jawbone, mandibular and eye socket were fractured and many of her teeth knocked out.
Tymon, 48, left the address before returning 30 minutes later and assaulting the victim’s friend as she tried to help her friend who was unconscious on the floor.
Tymon, of Loyns Close, Solihull, pleaded guilty to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and was sentenced to five years and six months in prison at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court.
He was also ordered to pay a £190 victim surcharge fee.
