A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of serious offences including stabbing after finding him hiding in a bed in Chelmsley Wood.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said yesterday: “Police carried out a warrant at an address in Coralin Close, Chelmsley Wood, at 6.10am this morning (Tuesday, January 22).
“A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, disqualified driving, no insurance, possession of a firearm, possession of class A drugs and receiving stolen goods.
“He remains in police custody.”
Chelmsley Wood police said on Twitter yesterday: “This morning Chelmsley Wood Neighbourhood Police Team arrested a male suspected of serious offences inclusing drug supply, stabbing and possession of firearms.
“He was found hiding inside a bed! Snooze you lose! #westmidlandspolice #chelmsleywood #bedtime”
